Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance is mandatory for all livestock exhibitors at the 2017 Athens County Junior Fair. Exhibitors not attending a quality assurance session will not be allowed to exhibit, show or sell an animal. Exhibitors of the following must attend a quality assurance session: Beef cattle, beef feeder calves, market dairy feeder calves, dairy cattle, rabbits, poultry, waterfowl, sheep, swine, goats and horses. Horse exhibitors must also attend a safety session-contact the Extension Office for information on this.

April 27, 2017, 5:30 TEST OUT OPTION FOR 16-18 YEAR OLDs...

April 27, 2017, 6:30 PM Regular Session

June 3, 2017 9:00 AM Regular quality assurance session...Athens County Fairgrounds.

August 5, 2017 2:00 PM Make-up session-Extension Office. $50 fee attached to this session, no exceptions to this fee.

Out of county exhibitors are welcome to attend with a $10 administration fee payable at time of signin.

Once a session has started, no late entry will be allowed. No exceptions to this.

Exhibitors of the following animals must attend one quality assurance session:

Horses, goats, sheep, swine, beef cattle, market dairy feeder calves, beef feeder calves, turkeys, dairy cattle, chickens, ducks, rabbits and horses.
Horse exhibitors must attend one quality assurance session and must also attend a horse safety session.

NOTICE- Exhibitors attending any quality assurance sessions outside of Athens County will not be honored. Permission to do this had to be done prior to the event by the fairboard. Quality Assurance at the Beef Expo is the only exception to this.

Out of county participants are welcome to attend for a $10 administrative fee per attendee to cover costs of paperwork.
